The 2007
Trekkineer will
be as fun and
challenging an
event as it has
been in the past
years, however
we are going to
try something
new by starting
the race at a
remote location
and racing back
to the lodge.
The race will
again start on
Friday evening.
The event is
hosted in the forests
near Lake
Superior around
Ironwood, MI and
Hurley, WI.
Teams will
consist of four
mixed-gender
racers and at
least one
support crew
person. Those
without a co-ed
team may race in
the Open
Division.
This event is
for those of you
looking to take
the next step
toward
expedition level
races. It will
test your
physical and
mental ability
to continue on
through the
night. The
course is vast
and challenging;
the
opportunities to
get lost, many.
The event is
hosted at the
Black River
Lodge providing
a weekend
getaway for
family, friends
and support
crews during the
race.
