The 24-hour Adventure NORTH Trekkineer will be held the weekend of the 17^th - 19^th of August, 2007. Once again, this will be the 24-hour event adventure racers will not want to miss. Racers will be challenged with various technical skills, as well as the physical and mental stamina required to continue on through the night. The course is vast with few check points. Teams plot and choose their own route, so navigation and decision making skills are essential!

The Trekkineer will include the following disciplines: mountain biking, trekking, navigation, paddling, coasteering, ropes and surprise events. The ropes may include traversing and/or rappelling. The course is not yet determined, but will be approximately 75-100 miles long in total length.

The location for this event will be the Ottawa National Forest of the upper peninsula of Michigan. The terrain and scenery is spectacular. This area is dotted with many waterfalls on several awe-inspiring rivers feeding into the breathtaking Lake Superior.

This event will be hosted at the Black River Lodge and Campground, situated just south of Lake Superior on the Black River. You will be extremely satisfied with the accommodations of the Black River Lodge. It is also a very family friendly environment and racers who brought their families last year were very pleased. The race will again begin on Friday this year and will conclude with a post race buffet meal and award ceremony on Saturday. Plan to stick around and meet the other racers and hear the stories of the course.

Registration Information:

	The fee for this race is $840 per team.
	A deposit payment of $210 is required to confirm registration.
	The remainder of the payment must be received by Adventure NORTH, LLC no later than July 25^th, 2007.
	Payment may be made by check or credit card.

Team Information:

	Teams must be comprised of 4 members of mixed gender for the co-ed Prize Division. Same gender teams of 4 may register for the Open Division.
	Each team will need to have one support person and a vehicle that is capable of transporting the team's bikes and transition equipment.

NOTE: We have defined each team to include one support member. We recognize this support member as a critical part of the team. That is why we count this person in all portions of the entry fee to the event. Some teams may opt to include a second support member for the event. Please notify us of this early to assure accommodations and meals. We will keep all of these fees as minimal as possible.

Entry Fee includes:

	All related race course fees and insurance.
	Use of boats and paddles for paddling sections of race.
	Camping fees (Thursday, Friday and Saturday Night).
	Wickers Performance shirt for each racer
	T-shirt for support member
	Jerseys for all racers.
	Medals for top three teams.
	Patches for all who complete the course.
	A catered post-race buffet meal for all team members. (4 racers and 1 support member)
	Free beer and a good night sleep Saturday night!

NOTE: Additional persons may join either meal for a nominal fee. Please notify us early so that the caterer can prepare enough meals. Also, please notify us of any special menu requirements so we are able to accommodate you.
