Mini Mad Dash Information

The fifth annual Mini Mad Dash will be held Sunday, May 4th, 2008. The Mini Mad Dash
will be an unsupported 3-4 hour adventure race for co-ed teams of three.
The location for this event will be the countryside surrounding the beautiful city of Madison,
Wisconsin. This race is
specifically designed for athletes who have never done an adventure race
before. It is a great event to introduce runners, bikers , paddlers, tri-athletes
and even couch-potatoes to the sport of adventure racing.
The event will
include the disciplines of navigation, running, biking, paddling, and a few
surprises. Teams will not be required to plot the course using UTM
Coordinates. After the race teams may enjoy a buffet dinner, by Blue Plate
Catering.

Registration Information:
|
| The
registration fee for this race is $225 per team. |
| 1/3
of the registration fee ($75) is due within 10 days of registration. The remainder of the payment must be received within 30 days of
registration, but no later than April 13th. |
| The
first 50 teams to register with full payment will be allowed to race.
Your registration will be dropped if you do not meet the payment deadlines
specified above. Prompt payment is encouraged to hold your spot. |
| Payment may be
made by check or credit card. |
| Checks should be mailed to:

| Teams that need
to drop may be issued a refund if they notify us prior to April 13th. |

Team Information:

| Teams
must be comprised of 3 members of mixed gender to be ranked in the prize
division. |
| Single gender
teams may compete in the open division, though no prizes will be
awarded. |

Entry Fee includes:

of boats and paddles for paddling section of race. |
| T-shirts
for each team member. |
| Medals for
top three teams. |

for all who complete the course. |

Note:
Additional persons may join the dinner for a fee. Please notify us
early so that the caterer can prepare enough meals.

included in the registration fee. Because of the urban location, we
anticipate some teams will prefer to stay in hotels.
