Updated: 4/16/2008

The sixth annual Mad Dash will be held Sunday, May 4th, 2008.  The Mad Dash will be a unsupported 8-10 hour adventure race for co-ed teams of three.  The location for this event will be the countryside surrounding the great college town of Madison, Wisconsin.

The event will include the disciplines of navigation, running, biking, paddling and a few surprises.  Teams will be required to plot the course using UTM Coordinates on 1:24,000 scale topographical maps.  After the race teams may enjoy a buffet dinner, by Blue Plate Catering.

This years event is a USARA sanctioned event, and as such, racers will be required to be USARA members to race.  It is a $8 fee per racer or $35 for an annual membership.  Membership benefits can be found on the USARA website.  Racers will earn points towards the National Ranking System.

The Mad Dash will also be a Regional Qualification race for the USARA Adventure Race National Championships.
